My mom’s former student’s mom worked with Sarah. And so it begins…
I knew it was meant to be over the first few emails. We spoke the same ridiculous quirky language. And she was darling. We met for dinner and drinks and I couldn’t have been more excited about her awesomeness. And her wedding was going to rock. When I met Greg for our engagement photos, he was just as lovely as Sarah had described him. They belong together—for sure.
They threw one damn good party. It helps when the bride works for a winery (Mallow Run Winery) and great beer was procured. The venue was amazing, the dessert table was insane, the details were impeccable—the bouquets had chili peppers in them. Swear.
Oh, and did I mention Sarah’s shoes? A few years ago, I wrote a blog post about these shoes. When I opened Sarah’s shoe box and saw them, I gasped. And yes, I realize the ridiculousness of that sentence, and I wish it wasn’t true—but they were my all time favorite shoes. Ever. I couldn’t stop photographing them. The only person who loves these shoes more than I do is Sarah, so she was okay with it. Let’s just get this awesomeness out of the way.
Here’s to Sarah and Greg…
P.S. The mix CD was rad.
Example #2,495 of why first looks are so amazing…
Did I mention I love the shoes? Sorry.
