Katie, Kyle and I first met at a tea shop. She knew exactly what she wanted, and he looked at her like all he wanted to do was to make her happy. And that, my friends, is a dream come true for me. Katie and Kyle met at church, and that is the foundation from which their relationship was built. I have never met two people more confident in their faith, and as a result of that, one another. They are truly on a journey together, and it was a joy to see this chapter begin with them surrounded by the people that love them most. This was a bridal party to remember… so much fun and so supportive of the love of their friends. And it was one heck of a party. I love Hillcrest, and it provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Katie, you looked beautiful. And the way Kyle looks at you still, a million photos later, melts my heart.

And, to Micah Bell Photography, for always being taller than me, calming me and being everywhere I can’t.
A side note to Katie: You have an amazing future ahead of you. Uncertainty is not a pleasant place to be, but it often yields the most fruitful rewards. I’ve been there myself, friend. And I know, beyond a doubt, that this summer has been exactly what you needed for yourself, your marriage and your career. I cannot wait for you to start the next chapter of your professional life next week… and we will drink to that soon!
